Xavier is an experienced entrepreneur and investor with a strong track record in private equity, deal structuring, and business development across industries and international markets.
Xavier is the founder and driving force behind Solea Capital, a private equity firm specializing in structuring and managing strategic investments. Originally established as Flavigny Capital in 2014 when he arrived in Miami, the firm transitioned to Solea Capital in March 2025, expanding its reach to external investors while maintaining its focus on private equity and alternative investments. Xavier is at the heart of deal structuring, leading the firm’s investment strategy, negotiating financing terms, and designing creative financial solutions that maximize value for both investors and portfolio companies.
In addition to Solea Capital, Xavier is the founder and president of FloridESCo, an Energy Saving Company (ESCo) based in Miami since 2013, specializing in designing, installing, and financing sustainable solutions for commercial facilities.
Prior to launching Solea Capital and FloridESCo, Xavier built a diverse background across multiple industries while living in Venezuela. His experience includes managing an oil services company, trading grains, founding a solar energy company, and engaging in international trade. This global exposure provided deep insight into cultural challenges, currency devaluation, inflation risks, and complex financial structures across three continents.
For over 20 years, Xavier has been actively investing in private companies, focusing on developing in-house projects and supporting companies in need of growth capital. He has founded over ten companies and invested in more than twenty others.
His investment philosophy is built on risk measurement, diversification, proper investment sizing, and balancing long-term growth with short-term cash flow needs. However, the most crucial aspect remains human capital, as he believes a company is only as strong as its people.
Xavier holds a Master in Business Administration from l’Institut Supérieur de Gestion (ISG) Paris and serves as a board member in several portfolio companies and charitable organizations.
